UV Paint is a special type of body paint. When exposed to ultraviolet light, your skin will appear to glow and any other colors that are painted on you with our special UV paint will appear to glow in some groovy colors. The camera is mounted on a tripod and the shutter is left open for close 1 -3 seconds. Therefore you will need to ‘Hold Still” with the pose you choose.

UV images can be tricky because you don’t see what you’re doing until you finish taking the photo. That is why for this photoshoot we will be ‘tethering’ our camera to a computer. This will allow us to display the shot on a monitor for you to see. After each shot we can review what the result was and adjust accordingly. This way we can help guide you and make suggestions about what to do for the next shot.

The price of your ticket will not only include the special paints and UV lights, but will also include a professional MUA to apply the paint on you. We will have on site the talented Megan Thompson! She is not only a published model herself, but has experience with UV Body Paint & themed photo shoots; both as a model and artist. She can paint small symbols or lines on your back, arms, palms of your hands, under your eyes etc. If you are wanting she can also paint your whole body by applying beautiful, artistic patterns and shapes across you body. This will be applied to your skin using a brush or sponge depending on the desired result needed. 

NOTE – You will need to arrive ONE HOUR BEFORE your scheduled shooting time. This is so you can have time for the paint to be applied and dried.

FAQ

WHERE IS THE EVENT LOCATED?
The event is at a private home located in Oregon City. Once you purchase your ticket you will receive a confirmation email with the address.

HOW LONG SHOULD I PLAN FOR?
You should arrive at least one hour prior to the start time of your photoshoot and be ready to have paint applied to you. This means you should arrive with your hair and make up pretty much ready to go. You will have approximately 45min of shooting time with the photographer.

HOW DO I CLEAN UP?
Warm water or a moist wet wipe should remove it effectively. We recommend a hot shower as soon as you get home.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
• We highly suggest wearing UV reactive clothing, although not necessary, it will add more punch to your final images. White clothes are reactive to UV light so at a minimum, wear white. NOTE Please be aware that these special paints may stain some clothes. So please wear clothes you will be fine with if you happen to get a stain on it.
• White, tight fitting garments that are translucent can also have a dramatic affect to your style of image. Or something as simple as a sports top and shorts/briefs can yield great results too. Just remember, the UV light will be reflecting off of what ever you are wearing.
• There are no real wrong answers here. Use your imagination. Again, remember what you wear will be lit up with UV light.
• If you want, you may choose a style called, Implied Nudity. HOWEVER, please contact us if this is your intention so we can plan accordingly. 
WILL IT BE COLD OUTSIDE? 
This shoot is outdoors but under a covered area. We have propane heaters should the temperature drop too low. 
WHAT IF I ARRIVE LATE? 
We highly recommend you arrive early and at least 1 hour before your photoshoot is schedule to start. Remember, you are reserving time with the photographer. As such we are not able to allow your session to go over into the next session. Please plan ahead accordingly. No refunds will be issued.
*IS THERE A GUARANTEED NUMBER OF IMAGES I WILL RECEIVE?
The short answer is no. This event is not about producing a ton of random images. It is about creating great, high-quality images. In fact for this shoot we are guaranteeing you a minimum of 7-10 images that meet our high standards. Anything above that will be icing on the cake as it were. You will see these images prior to you leaving the shoot so you feel confident knowing we got the shot for your. And you will know exactly what what to expect in your final download link.
